Another Year

Another Year

Well, another year has gone by, and it’s time for our annual monkey picture.  It’s getting harder to take as the boys are constantly going.  This year saw some big changes:  Sam officially got off his feeding tube last January and now eats just as much as Max… which is a lot!  After they clear their plates, Laura and I often share food from ours to satisfy the hunger of our little guys.  It’s actually a pretty good diet plan for us!  Max had to get glasses in August after he was diagnosed with what amounts to far sightedness (see the Walking Tall post for details).  Sam had his one year follow-up, and he’s doing great.  We are amazed at how little his heart issue has affected him.  Both boys started walking (and running), and there’s no stopping them.  They’re like little Energizer Bunnies!  They’ve also started going to “Mother’s Morning Out” once a week.  Here they can interact and socialize with other children their age.  Also, their vocabulary is growing every day.  We still don’t understand everything they say, but love listening to them jabber on as they try to tell us a story.

Yes, it’s been another great year.  We can’t wait to see what fun and surprises this year brings!
